5 Each player begins with eight grasshoppers between the first rank and the
6 pawns on the third rank. The grasshopper moves potentially in all
7 directions, but needs the help of a piece for its movement :
8 it jumps over the first encountered piece (of any color),
9 and land on the very next square.
10 This square must be either empty or occupied by an enemy piece (which is eaten).
